Coquito Matcha Latte

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of ceremonial matcha Shōga Neko Matcha
  • 2 oz warm water (160*F)
  • 6 oz almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg to taste
  • ice

Instructions:

  1. Sift 1 tsp Shōga Neko Matcha into your chawan (matcha bowl)
  2. Add 2oz of warm water (160*F)
  3. Whisk with your chasen (bamboo whisk) using zig-zag movements until mixture is smooth and frothy
  4. In a bowl, combine the almond milk, coconut cream, vanilla and spices (ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste, beat well to integrate
  5. To a glass, add ice, the coquito base and the matcha 
  6. Pause and indulge :)
