
Coquito Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of ceremonial matcha Shōga Neko Matcha
- 2 oz warm water (160*F)
- 6 oz almond milk
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg to taste
- ice
Instructions:
- Sift 1 tsp Shōga Neko Matcha into your chawan (matcha bowl)
- Add 2oz of warm water (160*F)
- Whisk with your chasen (bamboo whisk) using zig-zag movements until mixture is smooth and frothy
- In a bowl, combine the almond milk, coconut cream, vanilla and spices (ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste, beat well to integrate
- To a glass, add ice, the coquito base and the matcha
- Pause and indulge :)
